Westside Church
We’re a non-denominational church located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. We value community, so you’ll find a warm environment here where it’s easy to get to know people. We value the Bible, so you’ll find weekly sermons that are engaging, relevant, sound, and practical. We also value the Spirit, so you’ll find a place that is filled with life, as we expect God to do the things that seem impossible.
We feel this balance of Word + Spirit + Community defines us well, and it shows in the people who make up our church. Some from traditional denominations, some from a more charismatic style of worship, and some from no church background at all. We all come together for the purpose of pursuing Christ. We hope you’ll join us.
A Friendly Environment:
The first thing you can expect is a warm welcome. As you approach the church, you’ll be met by a greeter who will help you find your way around, answer any questions you might have, and will help make you and your family feel comfortable during the service.
A Relevant Message:
We believe in presenting the incredible message of the gospel in a way that is engaging, practical and challenging. You’ll be able to apply what you learn in a real way every week. We work hard to present an uncompromised view of scripture while maintaining the compassion and love of Jesus Christ.
Bring The Kids:
Westside has a program called Kingdom Kids designed especially for children (age 0-12). We have a great staff who make the services for them fun and exciting. Through the use of video, songs, stories, and crafts, your children will learn important Bible lessons while having a good time.
Wear What You Want:
There are no dress codes here. Just be yourself. You’ll fit in with whatever you feel is comfortable.
Leave Your Checkbook at Home:
We don’t expect you to give anything. The church is supported by its members who call it home, and you can expect that no one will try to pressure to make a contribution.
